Harrogate Town have signed midfielder Matty Young from League One side Huddersfield Town.

The 22-year-old joins the Blue Square North side after spending a week on trial at the club.

He is expected to make his debut against Lincoln City in a friendly on Friday at Wetherby Road.

Leeds-born Young is the club's sixth signing this summer along with Jim Provett, Justin Whittle, Jamie Smith, Ryan Toulson and Nicky Gray.
