ENGLAND
Didier Drogba scored a brace in his club's 3-3 draw
In England there were three African goals in the Premier league at the weekend. All three where scored in one game, Chelsea versus Everton.
Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba scored two for Chelsea, while Nigerian striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni scored one for Everton barely two minutes after coming on as a substitute. That game ended three all.
ITALY
There was only one African on target at the weekend in Serie A - Abdelkader Ghezzal, Siena's Algeria striker. He scored the winner in the last minute for his side as they beat Udinese 2-1.
GERMANY
In the German Bundesliga, it was a busy weekend for three Africans in the eight goal thriller between Borussia Monchengladbach and Hannover.
Tunisia defender Karim Haggui put the ball twice into his own net and his Ivorian team mate Constant Djakpa also scored an own goal. Hanover, who lost 5-3, scored two of their goals through Ivory Coast striker Didier Ya Konan but he was sent-off with six minutes remaining in the game.
SPAIN
Kanoute scored his fourth goal of the season for Seville.
In Spain Nigeria striker Kalu Uche gave Almeria the lead in the 58th minute as his side drew 1-1 with Deportivo la Coruna.
While Mali striker Frederic Kanoute scored the only goal of the game for Sevilla, who edged out Sporting Gijon. It is Kanoute's fourth goal this season.
FRANCE
Ivory Coast striker Kanga Akale scored a goal for Lens in their 2-0 win over Nice. Malian Mamadou Bagayoko who plays for Nice was sent off in that game.
Nigeria's Taiye Taiwo scored Marseille's second goal, from the penalty spot, as they beat Boulogne 2-0. His compatriot and Boulogne defender Olubayo Adefemi was shown a red card in the game.
Mali midfielder Bakaye Traore put the ball into his own net as his side Nancy lost the lead and lost 2-1 to Rennes.
Lille collected all three points at Monaco after a resounding 4-0 win. Gabon's Pierre Aubameyang scored the winner with six minutes remaining
Chamakh scored Bourdeaux's winner against Lyon
Benin striker Stephan Sessegnon scored the second goal for Paris Saint-Germain who beat Saint Etienne 3-2.
Senegal striker Souleymane Camara also scored the only goal of the game for Montpellier who triumphed at Toulouse.
And Morocco striker Marouane Chamakh scored a late winner for Bordeaux in the big match of the weekend at Lyon, as they The score there, one nil.
HOLLAND
In Holland Zambia's Joseph Mulenga scored the second for his club Utrecht as they drew 2-2 with Vitesse Arnhem.
BELGIUM
And only one African goal in Belgium at the weekend, as Cameroon striker Dorge Kouemaha equalised for Club Bruges in the 75th minute in their 1-1 draw with visiting Mechelen
