Yebda, who's on loan from Benfica in Portugal, could make his Algeria debut on 11 October in their 2010 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

Cameroon's Andre Bikey scored Burnley's second goal in their 2-1 win over Birmingham City.

South Africa's Kagisho Dikgacoi was sent off on his league debut for violent conduct during Fulham's 2-2 draw with West Ham. Television replays showed Dikgacoi raising his hand to Parker's face.

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has played down the clash with Scott Parker, saying the South African didn't deserve the sending off.

SPAIN

Nigeria striker Victor Obinna Nsofor equalised late in the game for Malaga in their 1-1 draw at Xerez, but he was then sent off in injury time at the end of the game.

ITALY

Ten-man Genoa triumphed 3-1 at Bologna with Morocco midfielder Houcine Kharja scoring the opening goal from the penalty spot in the 10th minute. Genoa have been impressive this season and are now in fifth position after seven games.

FRANCE

Tunisia striker Chaouki Ben Saada was on target for Nice as his side fought from two goals down to beat 10-man Valenciennes 3-2. Mali striker Mamadou Samassa scored one of the goals for Valenciennes from the penalty spot.

Two Africans scored the goals in the 1-1 draw Paris Saint Germain and Nancy. Morocco's Youssouf Hadji put visiting Nancy ahead in the 14th minute before Benin's Stephan Sessegnon equalised four minutes later.

Senegal's Mamadou Niang scored his sixth of the season for Marseille. But it was too little too late as Marseille lost at home 2-1 to Monaco.

BELGIUM

Cameroonian Aloys Nong scored for Mechelen in their 2-0 win over Lokeren.

Mali's Mahamadou Dissa scored twice for Roulers in a 3-2 win over Cercle Bruges.

Senegal's Ibrahim Sidibe pulled a goal back in the last minute for Saint Trond but they lost 2-1 against Zulte Waregem.

Gambian Ibrahim Ibou Savaneh was among the scorers in a six-goal thriller when his side Kortrijk drew 3-3 at Charleroi.

GERMANY

Tunisia defender Karim Haggui and the Ivory Coast's Didier Ya Konan were both on the score sheet as they helped Hannover thrash Freiburg 5-2.

Burkinabe Aristide Bance continued his fine form scoring the second for Mainz who beat Hoffenheim 2-1.

HOLLAND

Morocco's Said Boutahar equalised for Willem II as his side earned a point in the 1-1 draw with Nijmegen.

Sierra Leone's Gibril Sankoh experienced a defenders worst nightmare when he conceded an own goal as his side Groningen drew 1-1 to share the points away at Den Haag.

PORTUGAL

Senegalese Baba Diawara scored twice for Maritimo as they won 4-2 at Academica Coimbra, one of whose goals was scored by Diawara's compatriot Modou Sougou.

SCOTLAND

Morocco's Marouane Zemmama was on target for Hibernian in their 1-1 draw with Dundee United, who Ghanaian midfielder Prince Buaben sent off in the last minute.
