ENGLAND
Aruna Didane scored a hat-trick for Portsmouth
The Ivory Coast's Aruna Dindane opened his Premier League account with a hat-trick to help Portsmouth to a 4-0 win over Wigan, despite that victory Pompey are still bottom of the table.
Dindane's compatriot Didier Drogba scored Chelsea's final goal in a 4-0 win at Bolton Wanderers. That was Drogba's ninth league goal of the season keeps Chelsea top of the table.
Not such good news for Cameroonian George Elokobi who scored an own goal as his Wolves side drew 2-2 at Stoke City.
SPAIN
After scoring a hat-trick last weekend Mali midfielder Seydou Keita continued his fine form with another goal for Barcelona. However, the champions were held 1-1 by hosts Osasuna, who scored their equaliser in the last minute of the game.
Cameroon striker Pierre Achille Webo scored the only goal of the game, as his side Mallorca edged past Racing Santander.
Tunisia's Lassad Nouioui put Deportivo la Coruna ahead three minutes before half-time but his side drew 1-1 with Sporting Gijon.
GERMANY
Two goals by Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins in the first 20 minutes gave Wolfsburg a 2-0 lead at home against Mainz but Mainz then fought back as the match eventually ended 3-3.
FRANCE
Two Africans helped ten-man Nancy beat Boulogne 2-1, Senegal striker Issiar Dia put Nancy ahead in the 10th minute and then Morocco striker Youssouf Hadji grabbed the winner, with nine minutes remaining.
Tunisia defender David Jemmali, was sent off, two minutes before the interval, as his side, bottom-of-the-table Grenoble lost 2-0 at home to Lille. Ivory Coast's Gervinho sealed victory for Lille, with a last minute effort.
Guinea defender Bobo Balde and Tunisia midfielder Fahid Ben Khalfallah were both on the score sheet as Valenciennes clinched all three points in a 3-0 away win over Rennes.
PORTUGAL
Algeria striker Mehdi Kerrouche accounted for the only goal of the game as Naval beat Leixoes.
Senegalese Ladji Keita was on target again this weekend but despite putting Setubal ahead from the penalty spot, his side lost 2-1 away at Nacional.
GREECE
Nigerian Benjamin Onwuachi found the back of the net for Kavala who thrashed Panthrakikos 3-0.
Not such good news for another Nigerian as Suleiman Omolade was sent-off after just seven minutes in his side's 2-1 defeat at Panathinaikos.
TURKEY
Serge Djiehoua from Ivory Coast opened the score as his side Antalyaspor drew 1-1 with visiting Bursaspor.
Cameroon's Herve Tum scored the only goal of the game as his side Istanbul Buyuksehir triumphed at Denizlispor.
DR Congo striker Shabani Nonda put Galatasaray ahead in the 11th minute as they beat Sivasspor 2-0.
BELGIUM
Gambia's Ebrahim Savaneh gave Kortrijk the lead in their 2-0 win over Mechelen.
