Jersey hosted Scotland's Centenary Shield side last year
Jersey could host the Centenary Shield, according to the chief executive of the island's Football Association.
The event, which is for the Under-18 teams of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, has seen a host of internationals make their debuts.
Paul Creedon says talks are ongoing to try and bring the event to the island.
"If it happens it'll be fantastic for the island players and it'd give everybody the opportunity of watching the stars of the future," he said.
"These players go on and play professional football and we know that there'll be people over here from professional clubs watching these games," he added on BBC Radio Jersey.
Jersey are currently hosting the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland Under-18 sides while Scotland's team are due to take on Jersey later this month.
