Jersey grabbed a comfortable win as they beat an England Amateur XI 2-0 at Springfield on Saturday.
The England side were represented by the Southern Amateur League, who won the 2008 FA League System Cup.
Both of Jersey's goals came from poor backpasses, with the first seized on after just four minutes by Paul Aitkin.
The second, fifteen minutes later, was another poor mistake as keeper Dan Ashley miss-kicked, allowing Steve McCarter the easiest of tap-ins.
Great performance, a lot of creative football, I don't think 2-0 flatters us at all
Jersey Football Association President Ricky Weir
Jersey successfully defended their two-goal cushion, giving the visitors very few goalscoring opportunities, with Andrew Bird putting in a strong performance in goal.
Meanwhile Jack Boyle was outstanding, hitting the post with long-range shots on two occasions.
Barry Beatson missed a great chance for Jersey from two yards after pin-point cross from Boyle while skipper Stuart Andre marshalled his defence successfully.
A crowd of over 500 watched the game, which was a useful warm-up for the Southern League team as they prepare to go to Italy for the Uefa Regions Cup.
Jersey are preparing for their November tournament with Madeira and Gibraltar.
Jersey Football Association president Ricky Weir said: "It was a great performance, a lot of creative football, I don't think 2-0 flatters us at all."
England Amateur's manager Bob Leeds felt Jersey deserved to win.
He said: "We gave two goals away early on and we paid for it.
"Jersey played well and they capitalized on our mistakes, on balance they were the better side."
