JFA president Ricky Weir announces Jersey will play an England XI
Jersey will play an England Amateur XI in a friendly after talks between the Football Association and the Jersey Football Association.
The match will take place at Jersey's Springfield Stadium on 27 September.
JFA president Ricky Weir said: "The match gives our full national side a great opportunity to measure themselves against England's top amateur side."
JFA chief executive Paul Creedon said: "This game provides a great test for Jersey both on and off the pitch."
He added: "We are confident that we can compete at this level on the pitch and that our facilities are what would be expected to attract teams of this calibre and higher off it.
"The Jersey squad has a depth of talent that can shine on a bigger stage."
The England team will use the match as preparation for their Uefa Regions Cup group stage fixtures, while for Jersey securing a good result may ensure the future internationals the island team has been craving.
