Only two South West Peninsula League games survived the weather on Saturday, but Plymouth Parkway took advantage to go second in the table.
With Cornwall and Devon Cup matches also on only four matches were pencilled in for Saturday.
Parkway beat Newton Abbot Spurs 4-0 with Danny Brook giving them the lead in the fourth minute.
Paul Baker got the second before Chris Wright converted a 79th minute penalty and notched a late fourth.
They are now a point clear of Ivybridge Town, who have a game in hand, despite Ivybridge getting a win.
They won 3-1 at home to Witheridge with Ben Smallridge, Ryan Fice and Ross Coombes all on target for the Bridgers.
Liam Raybould got a late goal for Witheridge who stay fourth from bottom, a place below Newton Abbot Spurs.
