Jersey celebrate as bowler Ryan Driver takes a wicket

Jersey climbed to the top the ICC European Division Two table with a 67-run victory over France on Tuesday.

Jersey were put into bat at Port Soif and saw seamer Abdul Qureshi take four wickets as the Caesareans were dismissed in the final over for 188.

The French made a convincing start to their reply and were 34 without loss after only eight overs.

But Jersey fought back to take all 10 wickets for only another 87 runs, with Nigel Crocker taking 3-13.

It was Jersey's second win of the tournament in successive days after they beat Croatia by six wickets on Monday.
