Adam Lyth hit a brisk 90 not out for Scarborough to ensure a comprehensive 10-wicket Yorkshire Premier League win over Driffield. It took the 20-year-old just 61 balls as he hit 14 fours and three sixes after Driffield had made 138 all out. Scarborough moved up to second in the table, six points behind leaders York, who beat Sheffield United by 130 runs. Bottom club Harrogate's woes continued as they lost to Hull by seven wickets after making 203 all out. Defending champions York started the day one point above Barnsley but ended it nine points clear after their rivals lost to Sheffield Collegiate. York scored 230-7 at Sheffield United with Duncan Snell top-scoring on his return to the side with 56. Neil Laidlaw took 6-39 and Nick Kay 3-22 as United were dismissed for 100.
