Wins would see Duff and Le Patourel into the quarter finals

Two Guernsey boxers face tough tests this weekend as they travel to Essex for the latest stage of their campaign in the ABA Novice Championships.

Shane Le Patourel and Tom Duff were due to box last weekend but the bouts were delayed until this Sunday.

Victory would see them progress to the national quarter finals.

Coach Graham Guilbert said: "Hopefully they'll get past this one as it is about the hardest round, it is the London round."

He added: "We've made our strategy plans and it should be alright on the day."
