Dawes won two silver medals at the Island Games in Aland

Steve Dawes continued to dominate the OSA Recruitment All Terrain Challenge with victory in the fifth stage at Footes Lane on Wednesday.

The track race involved a steady 300m run followed by a 100m sprint to the line with the last two competitors being knocked out.

The Island Games half marathon and 10,000m silver medalist showed form over short distance to extend his lead.

Overall he is ahead of Mark Mercier, in second, by more than three minutes.
