A relay leg by Guernsey runner Tom Druce at the opening meeting of the season has won him the Channel Islands men's Performance of the Year award. Druce ran 47.1 seconds in the second leg of the 4x400m relay at the opening national league meeting of the season at Kingston-upon-Thames. The relay result meant the CI team picked up their best result of the season in the national league. The CI team were relegated from division three last month.
