Both semi-finals of the WJ Collins Trophy will be inter-island battles after Saturday's quarter-finals.

Jersey's Grouville cruised into the last four after beating Guernsey Rovers 8-1 at Le Boulivot with Luc Le Miere and Leon Nightingale both scoring two.

They face Vale Rec next Saturday in the semi-finals after they won 2-1 at home to Jersey side First Tower.

Ross Allen scored a hat-trick for Rangers as they came back from Jersey with a 4-2 win at St Ouen.

They will fancy their chances of making the final as they face Jersey Premiership's bottom side Sporting Academics, who got through on a bye, in the other semi-final.
