Rangers will be favourites for the final of the WJ Collins Cup after destroying Jersey side Sporting Academics in Saturday's semi-finals.

Rangers thumped Accies, the bottom side in Jersey's top flight, 10-2.

They will face Grouville in the final after they recorded a comfortable 3-0 win at Le Boulivot over Vale Rec.

Lue Le Miere got two of Grouville's goals with Mike McParland adding the other to send them through to the final next year.

"Grouville were a good side and very, very fit," said Vale Rec manager Tony Smith.

"I've no complaints, the best team won," he added.
