McCrea makes it a breaststroke double in Melbourne
Swimmer Sarah McCrea won another silver medal as Team GB boosted their overall Deaflympic medal haul on Thursday.

McCrea, who came second in the 50m backstroke on Monday, doubled her tally with silver in the 100m.

In tennis, Anthony Sinclair settled for silver in the men's singles and a bronze with Darren O'Donnell in the mixed doubles.

GB also came third in the women's doubles, while the men's football team beat Germany for a place in the final.

Hotshot Lee Farrell grabbed two goals as Britain overcame the Germans 4-1 to earn a showdown for gold against Iran on Sunday.

In the women's tournament, Britain lost their unbeaten record with a 3-0 defeat to the USA in their final group game but still go through to play Russia in the semi-finals.

Britain's tennis players won three medals in Melbourne on Thursday.

Seventh seed Sinclair became the first Briton to reach the men's singles final since 1965, where he was beaten 6-1 6-1 6-3 by German top seed Ronald-Oliver Krieg.

Sinclair and O'Donnell then overcame Dutch third seeds Eric and Martin Brugman 6-2 7-5 to win the bronze medal play-off.

Catherine Graham and Sharon Templeman completed the medal hat-trick by edging past fellow Brits Alex Simmons and Sally Clark 6-4 7-6 in the women's doubles third-place play-off.
