The Great Britain men's football team got their Deaflympics campaign off to a perfect start with a 2-0 win over Ireland in their opening pool game. Lee Farrell, who plays semi-professionally with East Preston FC in Sussex, netted both goals.
The striker opened his account after 53 minutes and added a second just on full-time.
Great Britain's next game is on Friday against Australia, who lost 3-1 to Greece in their opening game.
