British men reach football final
Lee Farrell (left) battles past the Germany defence at the Deaflympics
Farrell (left) is the tournament's leading scorer with 10 goals
Great Britain are through to the final of the men's football competition at the Deaflympics after sweeping aside Germany 4-1 in the semi-finals.

Lee Farrell netted for Team GB after 15 minutes and Oliver Wilcox added a second just after half-time.

Germany's Dennis Kluge pulled one back before an own goal and a second from Farrell made the result beyond doubt.

Great Britain will now face Iran, who beat Ireland 3-2 in the other semi, for the gold medal on Sunday.

The victory means Great Britain are guaranteed to leave Melbourne with at least a silver medal.

Farrell, who plays semi-professional football for East Preston, is the tournament's top-scorer with 10 goals.

Great Britain last won the competition in 1989 when they beat Ireland in New Zealand.
