Southend produced a remarkable comeback with three goals in the last 24 minutes to beat in-form Yeovil in the National League.

Darren Oldaker began the comeback with a 20-yard free-kick into the top corner and Leon Chambers-Parillon scored his third of the season after new signing Promise Omochere held off a number of challenges with 11 minutes to go.

The on-loan Bristol Rovers winger, introduced as a substitute just three minutes before the turnaround began, then scored the winner on his debut, spinning his marker to blast into the roof of the net with five minutes remaining.

Yeovil, who had won their last three games and were one of only two unbeaten teams in the division, had led through Archie Chambers' goal midway through the first half, with captain Luke McCormick doubling their advantage just past the hour.

But Southend, whose boss Kieron Dyer had slipped in names of Michael Jackson songs to his pre-match press conference to help raise money for charity, had the final say in a thrilling finish.
