Danny Mayor and Aaron Drewe scored as Fylde picked up their first victory in three matches with a routine 2-0 win over struggling Scunthorpe United.

Mayor scrambled the hosts into the lead in the 20th minute after Luca Thomas' effort fell kindly for him from a Maison Campbell save, allowing Mayor to bundle the ball home from close range.

Drewe then doubled Fylde's lead in the 66th minute with a similar messy finish, grabbing his first of the season at the back post from a Will Lancaster cross.

Scunthorpe remain in the relegation zone after their eighth league defeat of the season.
