Return of the wellies

There is an afterlife. At least for these wellies.
See the glory of the born again wellies! Spring is sprung!

I can see these becoming the latest in 'must buys' for visiting tourists. Have you enough wellies to keep up the supply?

Don't go putting ideas into peoples' heads pleeeeze! I already have to put up with two real skulls, a concrete ditto and a very ugly fake frog in the understory here at Rolling Acres, flowery wellies would be a step too far. And they will need a lot of watering.........won't they?

I refuse to believe these are commercially available. Why the stars (and you have better not think of adding stripes to the design!!)? Clearly, these wellies were not "made in Erin" - not a shamrock in sight. On closer look (glasses perched on my nose) I suspect mightily that these are old boots which have been recycled and adorned. Very artsy-wartsy. Congrats.

They are welly bootiful. 10 out of 10 for imagination!

Sorry, that hadn't crossed my mind!! Would an irrigation system help ... a bucket brigade. Of course if there was a hole in the bucket a whole new set of conditions would need to be considered.

The wellies set off the peeling paint of the porch so well. Perhaps you should paint your porch a beautiful shade of magnolia? Or paint the wellies to match the porch?

These are real wellies! Bought specially for me by my son Alistair in a shoe shop called Office. Fantastic! The geraniums may well die but then again maybe not. I'll let you know.

Lots of stars representing what States? State of Mind !!, State of Feet ?? ,State of Art $ , State of affairs @ , State of Play , State of Emergency *, State Mental Institution ......or "just a state " as they used to say. Truly wellies gone mad.

Wonder whether those geraniums will ever flower, Damadcoo? And please, even though they may be genetically modified geraniums (and wellies, for that matter), let them not produce snapdragons!! My psyche can only take so much.

where have i seen those before???

Simundo from Glasgow

Was an identical pair sold at a recent Christie's auction? Before I could get to the phone, the gavel had fallen (thank heavens!).
