Aftershock

In response to our friend from sooth at Magnolia Towers, I feel I must share some information with you all, something I discovered at Norwick Up Helly Aa. If you are going to drink Aftershock, do not mix your colours!! I'm sure that is what did for us.
I did go online to find out what exactly was in Aftershock. The red stuff is a cinnamon schnapps and I found a recipe for hot chocolate with red Aftershock in it which sounded quite appealing but not so much as the Wind Dog's Hot Chocolate with Chilli. I wonder if Andy would deliver??[Recipe available on his web site]

Here are some photos of today's snowy conditions. A large icicle outside my door. Far too dangerous to venture out!

LOOK, a human being!

Fascinating composition.

Ruthodanort from Unst

Sorry. I have no idea why these pictures came out one on top of the other. If you speak nicely to me I will re post the lower picture so you can see it more clearly. If not I may just give you the offending article!

Aw come on when are your schools going back? That's just a wee splatter of snow - a few flakes - our bairns tunnelled in.

Bigheid from Flotta

Going to get his/her pintamilkaday? Do I see fluorescent orange boots?

mjc from NM,USA

Is this modern art? Layer upon layer - suggesting the futility of snowbound existence? Technically superior. How big is your icicle?

Herman from Orkney

Bairs from Flotta tunnelling in/down under ... to get out of the island? Migrating to Hoy or the Mainland? Ran out of cod liver oil? Damadcoo: don't blame yourself. Blame the unexepcted composition on Graham down in Glasgow. How far did that person have to hoof it to get to the grocery store? Or was he/she making for the leftover from the bottle at the Millenium Bus stop?

mjc from NM,USA

What bottle? Thought Ruthodanort would have had that by now.

Herman from Orkney

Yes, I do see orange almost fluorescent boots. Must be the same ones which braved the torrential flood in another picture. Whatever happened to old fashioned wellies? These days, everyone must submit to fashion!! Clean windows, fashionable boots, and healthy living?
