This Time Last Year.

A Fulmar on The Ness of Brough, 2nd March 2007.


Though the weather has been wet of late, March started off quite nicely. The Fulmar above seems to be enjoying the sun and light breeze on the Ness of Brough on the 2nd March this year.

We have, so far this year, seen very little snow, but there is still plenty of time. The photographs below were taken on the 4th March last year.

I guess the islands are quite small, but the low population density evidenced in those pictures make the place look so large. I find the bottom 2 pictures particularly beautiful.
