Winters Blast at Last (images)

As with many other parts of Britain the first real blasts of winter only came to Sanday this week with a cold north wind and snow showers.
Though some of the showers were quite heavy, there were sunny periods in between, so the snow has not settled to any depth, so far.

In a bright spell, Red Head on Eday can be seen from the Bay of Brough.
