Hackney-born, Corrin was encouraged into cooking by a family friend and inspired by memories of his late grandfather’s food. He began his career at the Rosewood Hotel in London before moving to Vienna to work at a two-Michelin-star restaurant. In 2017 he relocated to Wales to join Gareth Ward at Ynyshir, becoming Head Chef after just four years and helping the restaurant secure its second Michelin star in 2022.

Corrin now runs Gwen in Machynlleth - Ynyshir’s intimate eight-seat sister restaurant, where he serves a 10-course tasting menu built around precision, bold flavour, and a modern interpretation of British cooking. His style remains rooted in classical technique but is shaped by the Asian influences he absorbed during his years at Ynyshir.

Corrin returns to GBM determined to go further than before, highlighting his distinctive take on Welsh produce and storytelling, bringing a menu that celebrates Welsh film stars and filming locations.
