Rufus Wainwright
Rufus is a Canadian-born, Grammy-nominated singer song-writer and composer who has released nine studio albums having sold millions of records worldwide. He is well known for his wide variety of feature film recordings with credits including Brokeback Mountain (2005), I am Sam (2001), Moulin Rouge! (2001), Shrek (2001), Big Daddy (1999), and Zoolander (2001). In 2008 he received a BRIT nomination for Best International Male Artist and has toured across the globe with sellout shows in Carnegie Hall and the BBC Proms. His most recent work is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s sonnets Take All My Loves: 9 Shakespeare Sonnets which includes collaborations with Florence Welch, Helena Bonham Carter and Carrie Fisher.
