Tim Minchin

Tim is an Australian actor, comedian, musician and composer who has toured the world as a musical comedy act, selling out shows at The Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena in the UK and The Sydney Opera House in Australia. In 2009, The RSC commissioned Tim to write the music and lyrics for their production 'Matilda the Musical.' The production opened in Stratford in 2012 and has become one of the most successful musicals of the last twenty years, winning seven Olivier Awards and five Tony Awards. It continues to run in the West End, on Broadway and the Lyric Theatre in Sydney. For the BBC, Tim was a guest host on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, a judge on Let's Dance for Sport Relief and BBC Two's Genius and has performed at the BBC Proms and BBC Three's Comedy Shuffle.
