Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict recently received critical acclaim in Lyndsey Turner’s sold out production of 'Hamlet' at the Barbican; the fastest-selling ticket in London theatre history.

For the BBC, Benedict will be playing the villainous Richard III in the upcoming second series of The Hollow Crown. His other BBC credits include the title role in Sherlock for which he won an Emmy, received three BAFTA nominations and a Golden Globe nomination and BBC Two’s Emmy-nominated adaptation of Parade’s End.

At the National Theatre Benedict starred alongside Jonny Lee Miller in 'Frankenstein' and in Thea Sharrock’s revival of 'After the Dance.'

He received an Oscar nomination for The Imitation Game (2014) and his other feature film credits include Twelve Years a Slave (2013), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), War Horse (2011), Black Mass (2015), and The Fifth Estate (2013).
