Konstantin Lee

Tenor from South Korea - 28 years old

Konstantin first started singing in a children’s choir at the age of seven. He earned both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Seoul National University, College of Music. He has won many awards including first places in the Korea Voice Competition, the Neue Stimmen Singing Competition and SWR Junge Opera Stars in Germany, as well as the Luis Sigall Competition in Chile.

His operatic debut was in La Traviata as Alfredo at the Seoul Arts Center Opera House. Since then Konstantin has performed as Rodolfo in La Bohème and as Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore. In addition, he has toured as a soloist with the major orchestras of Korea, China, Japan and Chile. Recently he made his successful European debut in the role of Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte at Theater Freiburg.

He is currently preparing for the Konzert exam at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and is expected to graduate this summer.
