Brooklyn Beckham: I'm in competition with my dad

"It's a pretty big competition between us" - Brooklyn Beckham on working out with his dad

Note to self: David Beckham is just as competitive in the gym as he is on the pitch.

Ever wondered what a Beckham family workout session looks like? Wonder no more, because Brooklyn spilled the beans (and spoke about beans, but more on that later) to Grimmy...

What's it like working out with your dad when he's a world famous athlete? Competitive, that's what. "We always go together, me and my dad, but sometimes he gets a little - it's kind of like a competition, me and my dad - so he sometimes gets me a bit angry and goes when he doesn't ask me and just sneaks off. It's a pretty big competition between us. I kind of have to step it up a little bit..."

Fresh from partying at Worthy Farm, Brooklyn revealed what he thought of his Glastonbury Festival: "It was my first one. It was really nice. A lot different to Coachella. I was there with my mum and dad - we kind of just walked around."

But if you thought 'just walking around' is easy when your mum and dad are David and Victoria Beckham, you'd be wrong.

Disguises are necessary (albeit simple ones): "We kind of have to wear hats and glasses but, y'know, it was fun. I kind of just wore a hat." Low key. We like it.

Chatting about his passion, photography, Brooklyn gave Grimmy an insight into candid photos of the Beckham's that feature in his photo book, What I See. Spoiler alert: DB and VB are fussier when it comes to being personally papped by their eldest.

"[My brothers and sister] aren't as fussy as my mum and dad. They're kind of like 'whatever you like, I like; you're the photographer.'"

Grimmy talks to Brooklyn about his obsession with photography.

But just in case you were thinking that the Beckham's weren't totally relatable, Brooklyn dropped a few gems: there's no football playing in the house; his favourite food from Greggs is a bean melt (other bakery shops are available...) and Oasis are his favourite band.

"I don't have a favourite brother. I think Liam has a bit more swag and Noel is just - he's like the heart of Oasis, I think."

Anyone for a bean melt?
