Deirfiúracha Uí Pháirc

Is mise Ayla, is mise Claire agus is mise Siobhán.

Ar ais, ar ais!

Is muid deirfiúracha Uí Pháirc!

Bhí spéis agam sa pheil Ghaelach ó bhí mé, b'fhéidir, trí nó ceithre bliana d'aois, bhí mé ag rith thart agus sásta a bheith ar an pháirc, cib é áit a bhfuil mé ag imirt, chun tosaigh nó ar chúl, is breá liom é.

Tar chugamsa!

Imrím ag an bhomaite sna cúil ach bhí mé i mo lánchúlaí. Bhí orm athrú mar gheall ar, mar gheall ar mo ghlúin. Ghortaigh mé é cúpla bliain ó shin ach gan dabht b'fhearr liomsa an cúl báire. B'fhearr liomsa mo bhosca beag!

Déanann Claire agus Ayla dearmad go bhfuil mé beag agus ansin déanann siad 'tackle' orm agus tá sé iontach láidir.

Leis an fhírinne a rá, ní réitíonn muid go han-mhaith ach nuair a bhíonn muid ar an pháirc peile athraíonn sin mar rud draíochta. Sin an t-aon am a mbíonn muid ag réiteach go maith nuair atá an liathróid againn!

Maith thú!

Mar a deir mo mháthair, is féidir leat aon bheirt againn a chur le chéile ach nuair a chaitheann tú an tríú duine isteach bíonn troideanna ann, bíonn difríochtaí ann ach níl sé ródheacair. Réitíonn muid go maith an chuid is mó den am, go háirithe leis an spórt ar an pháirc mar tá a fhios againn - tá an duine eile de dhíth don chluiche!

Tá cuid mhór déanta agam agus tá cuid mhór bainte amach agam agus mé ach seacht mbliana déag d'aois. Ach caithfidh mé a rá, b'fhéidir, ag imirt don chontae ceann de na rudaí is mó a tharla dom.

Tá an traenáil seo iontach tábhachtach dúinn anocht mar chaill muid cluiche ansin cúpla seachtain ó shin, comórtas mór idirchontae. Sin an fáth a bhfuil gach duine againn ag cur gach rud isteach anocht agus tá muid uilig scriosta anois!

Ó thaobh an spóirt dó, i gceann deich mbliana ba mhaith liom, sílim, bheith ag imirt do mo chontae.

Níor mhaith liom bheith ag imirt do mo chontae féin mar, sílim, tá mé róbheag le himirt anois!

B'fhéidir, má tá an t-ádh orm , dul chuig Páirc an Chrócaigh agus siúl amach leis na mílte daoine ag tabhairt tacaíochta dom. Beidh sin ina rud an-speisialta.

Park Sisters

I'm Ayla, I'm Claire and I'm Siobhán!

Back, back!

We are the Park sisters!

Come towards me!

I have been interested in Gaelic football since I was, maybe, three or four, I was running round and happy to be on the field, whatever position I'm playing, forward or back, I really like it.

At the minute I play in goals but I was a full-back. I had to change on account of my knee. I hurt it a couple of years ago but without doubt I'd prefer goalkeeper. I'd prefer my own wee square!

Claire and Ayla forget that I am small and then they tackle me and it is very strong.

To tell you the truth, we don't get on very well but when we are on the field of play that changes, like something magic. That's the only time we agree, when we have the ball!

Well done!

As my mother says, you can put any two of us together but when you throw the third person in there are fights, there are differences but it's not too bad/difficult. We usually agree most of the time, especially with regard to sport on the pitch because we know the other person is needed for the game!

I have done a lot and achieved a lot while just seventeen. But I have to say, maybe, playing for the County is one of the greatest things that happened to me.

This training is very important to us tonight because we lost a game there a couple of weeks ago ... an important inter-county competition. That's the reason why we are all putting everything in tonight and we are all exhausted now!

With regard to sport, in ten years time, I'd like, I think to be playing for my county.

I wouldn't like to play for my County because, I think, I'm too wee to play at the minute!

Maybe, if I'm lucky, go to Croke Park and walk out with thousands of people giving me support. That will be something special.
