| | | Tell me more! | In this 360, taken from the heart of Huddersfield, you can see how St George's Square and the railway station dominates the centre. St George's Square is the first sight for people coming out of the train station. Around the Square are Victorian buildings such as the train station, Lion chambers and the famous George Hotel, the birthplace of Rugby League. In recent years, a £1m improvement of St George's Square, has brought in traditional paving and Victorian lamp standards.
