| | | Tell me more! | This 360 panorama is a panoramic view taken outside Nostell Priory near Wakefield. As you can tell it's rich in history!
Don't be deceived by the name, Nostell Priory is in fact a stately home built in the eighteenth century for Sir Rowland Winn. It's full of treasures, including a magnificent collection of furniture from Otley lad Thomas Chippendale, paintings from the likes of Brueghel, Angelica Kauffmann and Gainsborough, and even an extremely rare clock made by John Harrison of 'Longitude' fame. The property - including the grounds - is now owned by the National Trust and is open to the public. | Getting there... | Nostell Priory, Doncaster Road, Nostell nr Wakefield, WF4 1QE ('phone 01924 863892)
