Classroom Ideas
"Challenge students to create example of images that express different moods, based on the amount of light exposure in the image. They are not allowed to adjust light levels in the environment, but must do it using the camera aperture. For each image, they should record what aperture setting they used. They could also try photographing a subject in different lighting conditions, adjusting the aperture to try to get the images to look as similar as possible.
