Norway v Angola On Monday 11th our school went to watch the Olympic games, we were watching the women's handball. | Norway took over the game, out classing Angola in speed tactics and defence | The first game started at 2 in the afternoon and was a group A match between Norway and Angola. Angola were the first to score. After this Norway took over the game, out classing Angola in speed tactics and defence. At the end of the first half the score was to 14-6 to Norway. In the second half Angola tightened their game but Norway was still too strong for them and the final score was 31-17. After the game I interviewed a Norwegian supporter who thought her team played well but that they didn't have to play at full level. The best player in her mind was Tanja Larsen. South Korea v Germany The second game that we watched was between South Korea and Germany. The first half was close with both South Korea and Germany trying to gain the lead but near the end of the first half South Korea started to pull away from the German team and ending the half 12-9 to South Korea. | The South Korean supporters came in force to the game and were definitely dressed for the occasion |
After the break South Korea came back even stronger wearing down the German players and built up a comfortable score. However, near the end of the second half it was Germany's turn to come back against the South Korean's putting pressure on the keeper then scoring. But with South Korea's lead already built, and their ability to keep scoring even though the German team was catching them, the game finished 30-20. The best South Korean player was definitely their keeper. The South Korean supporters came in force to the game and were definitely dressed for the occasion, cheering their team giving them a clear morale boost.
