Melksham were having their moments but struggled to find any fluency. In spite of the good football being played the deadlock was broken with yet another mix up in the Melksham defence this time after a Chippenham corner. Melksham struck back strongly and earned a penalty only to see the attempt put wide of the post. The second half saw Josh Hatcher complete his hat-trick with a third fine finish. Warminster were never out of the game and deserved their consolation goal near the close of play. The Flames men of the match Chris and Joe Halliday then scored two brilliant goals each to take the three points at 5-2.

Another gutsy performance by FC Chippenham as they held their match against Melksham Park goal-less for the first ten minutes before Melksham scored the first of their six goals. Chippenham’s man of the match went to Ben Leslie.

In a match that could well have decided first place at the end of the season, Trowbridge Town Wasps can count themselves unlucky not to have claimed all three points against a strong FC Chippenham side. In the first half both teams produced some excellent football with Trowbridge having the better clear cut chances but failing to take advantage with near misses for Alex de Silva and Josh Moss. The second half saw the Wasps midfield take charge with Kieran Mccaldon, Aaron Patrick and John Carroll creating some superb openings which eventually saw Joshua Moss make the break through with an accurate low shot giving the Chippenham keeper no chance. UNDER 12’S RED DIVISION
For the second consecutive week, Bromham started the match with only ten players but it was Bromham who appeared to want the win more than Castle Combe.

Bromham started very brightly and dominated proceedings for long periods of the first half. Indeed, it was Bromham who took the lead on twelve minutes by a well struck shot past the stranded Combe keeper from Steve Price. Combe equalised in the fifteenth minute from a well worked goal by Luke Simpkins. It was still Bromham who pushed and were unlucky not to take the lead again on numerous occasions.

Combe struck once again through Sam Wozniak and went in at half time 2-1 up against the run of play.

Once again Bromham started the second half the better and were increasingly threatening the Combe goal but sadly after five minutes of the second half lost another player through injury and were down to 9. Bromham still battled well but as they tired Combe started to get into their stride and with three goals from Sam Wozniak Combe looked comfortable.

However, Bromham did not give up and scored an excellent second goal through Ben Tiley in the forty-second minute who slotted neatly home past the Combe keeper Matthew Baines.

From the re start Combe pressed immediately and responded with a well worked goal, carving open the Bromham defence and Sam Wozniak rifled home a shot into the top left hand corner of the Bromham goal.

From then on it was all Combe who had finally woke up and took the game to Bromham. Goals from Sam Wozniak and Luke Simpkins completing the goal fest at 10-2. Wozniak ended up with a double hat trick and Luke Simpkins finished his account on four.

An explosive start from Bradford this week as Max Willcox put the home side
ahead against Castle Combe Colts White within the first minute followed by a goal from Tom Giles just five minutes later. With such a positive start from Bradford it was difficult to
see how Castle Combe would get into the match but with an outstanding save
from Combe's Keeper tipping the ball over the bar from a powerful drive, it
seemed to settle the visitors. For the next fifteen minutes the game was end to
end with numerous offside traps being played until Bradford won a corner
with Chaz Elton scoring through a crowded box from a low in-swinging cross
from Chris Tonkiss. Max Willcox made it four for Bradford just before the
break. The first five minutes of the second half was all Bradford and the lead was
extended to five by a second goal from Giles. Castle Combe then took
control and scored a well deserved goal cutting right through the Bradford
