UNDER 9’S BLUE DIVISION
In a hard fought, entertaining game, one goal from Joshua Yates was enough to give FC Chippenham A the three points and a well earned victory against Castle Combe Colts White.

Chippenham Town Youth took the lead against home side Melksham Town Youth after a shot came back off the bar and was slotted home by Joe Merriman. The second half started well for the home side with a powerful thirty yard run and great finish from Callum Demkiv putting the game back in Melksham’s hands. Demkiv put Melksham in the driving seat at 2-1 with Morgan Burton sealing the victory at 3-1 with just four minutes left on the watch.

A well organised and resolute AFC Corsham Jaguars side restricted division leaders Trowbridge Town Youth to a single goal victory for the first time this season. Trowbridge’s goal came midway through the first half through a well worked move down the right hand side by Tom Green. Trowbridge created a number of other chances but failed to convert them. Corsham came close to equalizing in the second half but were denied by a great save from Nathan Burrows who up to that point had not had a single save to make.

Devizes Town Youth ran out winners away to Warminster Highbury with a single goal five minutes into the second half.

UNDER 9’S GREEN DIVISION

Trowbridge Town Youth returned to winning form to secure their fourth win of the season in their away game against FC Chippenham. Cameron Younger scored early in the first half giving Chippenham an early lead before Harvey Hale of Trowbridge responded with a well placed lob from outside the box to level the score. In the second half a superbly struck free kick from Sam Fuller gave Town the lead. Trowbridge’s good defensive play with excellent midfield support meant that Chippenham were unable to respond. In the last minute Joe Frances’ shot on goal was tapped in by Max Baker giving Town a well deserved 3-1 win.

After a goalless first half Melksham Park went 2-0 up against White Horse Dynamos with two goals from Nathan Drew. In a remarkable final ten minutes the Dynamos scored three times through Joshua Morgan-Williams to seal victory.

Trowbridge Wanderers remain four points behind leaders and local rivals Trowbridge Town Youth after running out 4-2 winners against Bradford Town Youth White.

UNDER 9’S RED DIVISION
A close encounter with no score at half time saw Worton and Cheverell’s Harry Waylen break the deadlock after finding himself one on one with the Derry Hill keeper. Worton then extended their lead with a further two goals from Elliot Bodman and a second for Waylen. It all looked to be going Worton’s way when Derry hit back with two goals in quick succession to make the score 3 - 2. It was tight end to end football for the next few minutes until Ben Marshall sealed the game for Worton with a strike from inside the box direct from a Waylen corner to make it 4 - 2 to Worton. Notable performances for Worton were Alistair Long in defence and Liam Cutler for his second half performance in goal.

Melksham Town Youth ran out convincing 7-0 winners at home to FC Chippenham with goals from Luke Thompson (2), Sam Rose (2), Alfie Kilgour (2) and Jack Clayton.

Bromham took a 1-0 lead at the break with an own goal against home side Chippenham Town Rangers. Chris Isherwood brought the game level but a goal in the dying minutes sealed a 2-1 victory for Bromham.

UNDER 9’S YELLOW DIVISION

Trowbridge Town Youth took the lead through Jodi Meaden in their home game against White Horse Juniors Flames. The Flames came from behind showing great determination with two goals from Kieran Hegerty one of which from the penalty spot. An excellent solo run and great finish saw Joe Halliday give the visitors a 3-1 final score. Toby Inkpin earned the Flames man-of-the-match honour for a great defensive display. 

Bradford Town Youth Blue earned their second win of the season after running out 10-0 winners at home against FC Chippenham. Bradford saw goals from Gus Wright (3), Michael Wilson (1), Lewis Beaver (1) and Ollie Clayton-Smith (5).

Melksham Park dropped points for only the second time this season following their away game against Trowbridge Wanderers which ended level at 1-1. Tom Jones put Park in the lead with Robert Metcalfe replying for Wanderers.

UNDER 10’S BLUE DIVISION
Larkhall Athletic Falcons remain four points clear at the top of the table following their 3-1 home win against Chippenham Town Youth. Joe Oswin (2) and Harry Andrews scored for the Falcons.

Melksham Park opened the scoring through Jonathan Mead when they capitalised on some sloppy defending by Trowbridge Town Youth Cougars. Trowbridge struggled to get back in the game and waited until the last ten minutes when Jamie Mortimer brought the game level. Mortimer’s second put Trowbridge in the lead with a third from Jack Whiting putting the result beyond doubt.

In a very evenly contested game FC Chippenham came out winners with a goal in each half from Miles Burton. The first half had both teams playing some good passing football with Chippenham having the better opportunities. With a one goal lead FC Chippenham found themselves on the back foot as Trowbridge pushed hard for an equaliser. Having held on for fifteen minutes with some hard work from the Chippenham defence, Miles Burton secured the win with his second goal of the game. The final minutes showed Chippenham grow in confidence and could have increased the lead with a number of opportunities.

Melksham Town Youth earned their first win of the season after running out 3-1 winners against home side AFC Corsham Jaguars. Brad Butcher gave Melksham a 1-0 lead at the break then completed his hat-trick with two more goals in the second half.

UNDER 10’S GREEN DIVISION
An under strength Trowbridge Town Jaguars gave a brave performance against local rivals Trowbridge Wanderers. With only six players Jaguars fought hard but found themselves 1-0 down before Lee Phillips brought the game level. An organised Wanderers soon regained the lead despite solid defending from Town’s Dan Perry and Callam McCaldon. Wanderers continued to dominate and led 4-1 at the interval. Town gave an outstanding effort in the second half but two more goals from the visitors settled the game at 6-1.

The bottom of the table clash between Chippenham Town Rangers and home side Castle Combe Colts saw Rangers with the first win of the season with a 5-0 final score. Tom Brazier (2) and Dominic Staples Preston (3) scored for Rangers.

An even first half saw White Horse Sparks take a 1-0 advantage against home side Warminster Highbury. Five second half goals with one reply gave the Sparks a 6-1 victory. Nick Newth, Jemima Gover (2), Harry Bradford and Josh Murray Williams scored for the Sparks with Richard Ledbury replying for Highbury.

Bradley Hill gave Devizes Town Youth a 1-0 lead at the break in their home game against Larkhall Athletic Hawks. Devizes held on to the one goal advantage until the last minute when the Hawks equalised.

UNDER 10’S ORANGE DIVISION

Home side Team Bath Arsenal played out a very close game against Warminster Juniors with the Junior’s edging ahead at 2-1 at the break. The game continued on an even keel with both sides increasing the tally for the Juniors to finish 3-2 winners. Ollie Plumb and Harry Merrill scored for Team Bath.

Another close encounter saw home side Devizes Town Youth take the lead through Tommy Arkel against Derry Hill United. After the break Derry brought the game level for a final score of 1-1.

UNDER 10’S RED DIVISION
Toby Alexander and Conner Randell gave home side Melksham Park a 2-0 advantage at the break against local rivals Melksham Town Youth. Park dominated play throughout the second half netting a further six goals to finish 8-0 winners. Park saw second half goals from Lewis Pearce (2), Jamie Kendray, Conner Randell, Kieran Jenkins with his first goal for the club and one from Jordan Norville who chipped the keeper from distance.

Division leaders AFC Corsham Leopards increased their lead to four points after running out 3-0 winners at home to FC Chippenham.

UNDER 10’S YELLOW DIVISION

Bradford Town 0 Worton & Cheverell 7

Worton & Cheverell continued their five game unbeaten run in the league after running out 7-0 winners away to Bradford Town Youth with four of their seven goals coming from defenders. After four years playing at the back and no previous goals for Worton Oliver Clack scored a hat trick with decisive runs down the left hand side. Kieran Dickinson got his first goal for the club with a run down the middle past a number of players. The forwards Matthew Godwin and Jordon Wildman (2) also scored.

Larkhall Athletic Kestrels unbeaten run came to an end after Trowbridge Wanderers Black ran out close 4-3 winners and replace the Kestrels at the top of the table. The Kestrels saw goals from Ben Phillips, George Butler and an own goal.

UNDER 11’S BLUE DIVISION

UNDER 11’S GREEN DIVISION
Melksham Town Youth require just one point from their remaining two games to finish top of this division after running out 9-0 winners away to AFC Calne. Melksham’s goal-scorers were George Plank, Jake Cooper, Jake Brewer (2), Will Stead (2), Billy Cookson, Charlie Austin and Bradley Parsons.

UNDER 11’S ORANGE DIVISION
Westbury Youth ran out 15-1 winners against Bradford on Avon Blue with goals from Luke Booth, Ryan Holton, Ashley Hargreaves, Ryan Newman, Joe English, Kai Bingham (3) and seven from Luke Ross.

UNDER 11’S RED DIVISION
Warminster Juniors took a 1-0 lead at the break against home side Marshfield FC. Ollie Whitcomb brought the game level before Warminster secured their victory with a second to finish 2-1 winners.

UNDER 12’S BLUE DIVISION

Trowbridge Town Youth Wasps started their home game against Melksham Town Youth at a brisk pace with the Melksham keeper making a string of saves from Kieran Mccaldon, Alex de Silva and Mike Reynolds before Jack Miluk scored with a tap in from a corner after ten minutes. Trowbridge continued to pressurise the hardworking Melksham players and were rewarded with a penalty after Mike Reynolds forced a foul from the Melksham defence with a bursting run into the area. John Carroll confidently converted the spot kick and a few minutes after the restart Aaron Patrick added Trowbridge’s third of the half with an excellent individual run and cool finish. The second half saw Melksham miss an early penalty before the Wasps turned defence to attack with a sweeping passing move involving all the midfield gaining striker Josh Moss a shooting chance which the Melksham keeper did well to parry before Jack Miluk scored his second from the rebound. Trowbridge added two further goals towards the end of the half with Corey Smitherman scoring both with sharp confident finishes to make the final score 6-0.

Trowbridge Town Wildcats started brightly against home side and local rivals Trowbridge Wanderers and deservedly took the lead on ten minutes with a tap in goal from a goal mouth scramble by Alex Thompson. Wanderers fought back well and dominated the last fifteen minutes of the half creating a number of chances and taking two of them well to go into the interval with a 2-1 lead. The second half saw Wanderers grab a third early goal with a good strike giving keeper Tim Wilson no chance before the Wildcats started to fight back and gaining the rewards for their efforts after ten minutes with a second goal for in form striker Alex Thompson. Town tried to push forward in search of an equaliser and narrowly missed out on several occasions before Wanderers started to take advantage of a stretched Town defence and despite defenders Kieran Bond and Adam Pettys best efforts succeeded in rounding off the score-line with a further two goals to make the final score 5-2 to the home team.

A hat trick from Matthew Stevens and one from Jamie Walker gave home side FC Chippenham a 4-1 win against Warminster Highbury.

Derry Hill United broke Devizes Town Youth’s unbeaten run with a 1-0 away victory.

UNDER 12’S GREEN DIVISION
Amesbury Juniors move five points clear at the top of the table after running out 6-0 winners at home to AFC Corsham. Tristan O’Hagan (3), Tom Nicklen, John-Ryan Zinn and Brandon Mundy scored for Amesbury.

In another very hotly contested match which could have gone either way White Horse Juniors took the lead but Chippenham Town Rangers replied soon after to level the score. Chippenham could have taken the lead when awarded a penalty but the ball went wide. After the restart White Horse were awarded a penalty but this time the Chippenham keeper saved it keeping the score level at 1-1. White Horse eventually regained the lead before securing a 3-1 win. White Horse saw goals from Ben Wickens and Max Bush (2) with Rory Embling named man-of-the-match for giving an outstanding performance as stand in keeper. Nathan Merritt scored for Chippenham with Alex Munroe named as their man-of-the-match.

Westbury Youth took a 2-0 lead at the break against home side Chippenham Town Youth with goals from Aaron Maxwell and Adam Bishop. Chippenham came back in the second half scoring two through Steven Myers and Alex Pym but a third from Westbury’s Bradley Lewis secured them the win at 3-2.

Second place Worton & Cheverell lost their first game of the season after home side Bradford Town Youth ran out 6-3 winners. Ellis Reece, Steve Grant, Shannon Dunn (2), Ollie Beard and Macauley Taylor scored for Bradford.

UNDER 12’S RED DIVISION
Pewsey Vale battle hard throughout their away game against Castle Combe Colts despite having only ten men. Pewsey were 5-3 down at the break but found renewed vigour after the restart reducing the deficit to 5-4. Combe increased their lead to 6-4 only for Pewsey to peg the gap back to 6-5 in the forty-sixth minute. As Pewsey tired Combe proved too strong and were eventual 10-5 winners. Combe saw goals from Luke Simpkins (3), Sam Wozniak (4), Kane Tilley, Jack Taylor on his debut and Liam Dowker also named man-of-the-match. Cameron Amor (3), Conrad Hewitt and Matthew Croxton scored for Pewsey.

Jack Sheppard put home side Bromham in the lead in their game against Westbury Youth. Both sides cancelled each other out in the second half for Bromham to take the game at 3-2. Rory Wiltshire and Ashley Gibbs also scored for Bromham. Referee Jamie Davies from Calne had an excellent game.

Home side Larkhall Athletic ran out 7-1 winners against Melksham Park Youth with goals from Ginny Davies, Josh Ayres, Ryan Farrington, Matteo Sunda, Chris Banner and two own goals.

UNDER 13’S BLUE DIVISION
AFC Corsham dropped points for the first time this season after their away game against Trowbridge Wanderers finished all square at 1-1. Ben Yates scored for Wanderers.

Devizes Town Youth got off to a bright start going 3 - 0 up within twenty minutes at home to Melksham Park with goals from Jake Pearce(1) and Joseph Hutchinson(2). Melksham Park scored just before the break to reduce the deficit. The second half started with Park applying the pressure early and bringing the game back to 3 - 2. Devizes then extended there lead to 4-2 with a second goal from Pearce. Devizes pursued a fifth goal which duly came from hat-trick hero Joseph Hutchinson. Melksham Park replied with a late consolation goal for the game to finish 5-3.

Trowbridge Town Youth took a 2-0 lead in their away game against AFC Calne but Calne were quickly back level with two great strikes from Mike Coulson. The match could have gone either way in the second half but a third for Trowbridge secured them the victory.

UNDER 13’S GREEN DIVISION

Hat tricks from Ernie Piebst and Jamie Parlour and a single from Flyn McAthry-Driver secured a comfortable 7-1 win for home side Bradford Town Youth Whites against Westbury Youth.

UNDER 13’S RED DIVISION

A lovely game between home side FC Chippenham and Derry Hill United saw both teams wanting to play skilful football and the result keeps Chippenham at the top of the table. Three goals either half coming from Ajay Aritthoppa (3) and one each from Joshua Hodges, Luke Barrie and Rhys Merriman saw Chippenham clear 6-0 winners. Some fine goalkeeping from the Derry Hill keeper kept the score down. In the second half Derry Hill were unfortunate not to score but some brave blocking by the FC Chippenham stand-in goalkeeper Matthew Hudson and some last ditch tackles by the back four saw Chippenham keep a clean sheet.

A double hat trick for home side Melksham Town Youth saw them on their way to an 11-1 victory against local rivals Melksham Park Youth 2nds. Town also saw goals from Ben Macey, Jack Ewer, George Harding, Ben Wyborn and Joe Lewis.

Castle Combe gave a very encouraging bounce back in their home game against Devizes Town Youth after their two defeats in back to back cup matches. Goals from Jordon, Girogio, Jack and Nick Mills showed Combe can really apply themselves well. Goal keeper Lui managed to keep his second clean sheet of the season with a strong defensive performance from Craig, Alex, Oscar and Dan at the back. Devizes never gave up and kept fighting right to the end with the manager putting on three strikers in the last fifteen minutes to try and get a consolation goal but Combe held out to finish 6-0 winners.

UNDER 14’S BLUE DIVISION
Two goals from Mike Thorpe and a goal each for Lewis Cox and Alex Dixon secured a 4-0 win for Team Bath at home to Warminster United Youth.

Castle Combe Colt took a 2-0 lead in the first half of their home game against Devizes Town Youth with both goals from Matthew Loft. Devizes were right back in the game in the second half scoring twice but a third from Combe seeing Loft complete his hat trick gave the home side a 3-2 victory..

FC Chippenham remain at the top of the table after running out 3-0 winners away to Lydiard FC.

UNDER 14’S GREEN DIVISION
Bemerton Heath Harlequins ran out 5-1 winners at home to Westbury Youth with goals from Charlie Young, Ryan Clark, Sam Dunham and Sam Marr (2) with Tribick replying for Westbury.

Home side South Newton & Wishford and Warminster Highbury drew a blank in the first half but two second half strikes from Nick Revell and Charlie Blake gave the home side all three points.

UNDER 14’S RED DIVISION
AFC Calne Town Youth raced into a 3-0 lead against home side Amesbury Juniors with the home side pulling one back before the interval. Calne continued to dominate play in the second half and two further strikes secured them a 5-1 victory. Sam Pageat, Matthew Stuart, Alex Lewis, Aaron Hopkins and Josh Dolman all scored for Calne.

Bradford Town Youth move up into fourth place following their 3-1 win against visitors AFC Corsham. Rob McKie, Dan Blake and James Iberson-Hurst scored for Bradford with James Dark replying for Corsham.

Langford United held off a determined Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds during the first half resulting in a 0-0 score at the break. Karl Buckland got Trowbridge off the mark with a spectacular thirty yard volley over the Langford keepers head. Trowbridge finished 2-0 winners after consistent goal scorer James Griffiths netted their second.

Melksham Park remain in contention after running out 8-2 winners away to FC Chippenham Youth 2nds.

UNDER 16’S BLUE DIVISION
Chippenham Town Youth move four points behind leaders Trowbridge Town Youth with three games in hand after running out 5-2 winners against them. Joe White (2), Liam Brown, Craig Fisher and Ryan Tyrell scored for Chippenham with Toby Dawson and Scott Cunningham replying for Trowbridge.

Melksham Town Youth drop to third from top despite running out 2-0 winners away to Westbury Youth.

Devizes Blues made fourth place FC Chippenham work hard for the three points after keeping them at bay in the first half but two second half strikes with no reply earned Chippenham the victory.

Salisbury City made it four wins out of seven after running out 4-0 winners away to Warminster Highbury.

UNDER 16’S RED DIVISION

Worton and Cheverell and Salisbury United’s league game was a testing affair as both will face each other next week in the League Cup. It was no surprise that both teams matched each other in terms of style and chances resulting in a 0-0 half time score. Salisbury took an early lead after the restart with a penalty from Ollie Hill before Worton equalised from the spot through Jake Flower at the other end. The game was settled ten minutes from full time when Ben Mason broke through the Salisbury defence to calmly slot home Wortons second.

Melksham Town Youth 2nds remain nine points clear at the top following their away win against Castle Combe Colts. Combe held Melksham to just a 2-1 lead in the first half before Melksham netted three second half goals to finish 5-1 winners. Darren Applegate scored for Combe.

Amesbury Juniors ran out 5-1 winners at home to Pewsey Vale with goals from Ady Lawriew (3), Nathan Osgood and Ian Berry.

UNDER 17’S BLUE DIVISION

Westbury Youth move to joint leaders of the division on points following their 5-2 away win against Chippenham Town Youth.

Melksham Park earned their first win of the season with a 4-0 away win against Marlborough Town.
