Now The Mail on Sunday has reported that the Lions management have exercised their right to veto scenes from the video, with Healey the player most affected.

The newspaper said one of the incidents taken out involved Healey describing how he came close to punching Donal Lenihan after the tour manager's "damning speech following the defeat by Australia A in Gosford in June".

Another scene showed Healey criticising Lions coach Graham Henry for his coaching methods.

"The Lions had a veto which they exercised very aggressively," said a source close to the video protect.

"In particular, they had a big downer on Austin.

In removing a fair bit of him, they've attempted to portray the tour as harmonious, pretending there were no splits in the camp and no controversy."
