| Monday, 20 May, 2002, 10:50 GMT 11:50 UK Swans chase LoW striker Swansea City have offered a one-year contract to Carmarthen striker John Keaveney, who has impressed in the League of Wales this season. Keaveney, 20, only moved to Richmond Park in March, but scored nine goals in that brief period. If he agrees to the move, Keaveney will become Swansea's second new face for next season following Cheltenham midfielder Michael Jackson. And Pontardawe's 18-year-old goalkeeper Andrew Marsh is set to join them, but won't sign for the Swans until July. Swansea hope the likes of Keaveney and Marsh can follow the example of Terry Evans, Neil Sharp and Andrew Mumford, who have all established themselves at the Vetch since stepping up from the LoW. Player-coach Nick Cusack is overseeing a period of change at Swansea having released ten players, whose contracts were up, earlier in the month. | Top Swansea City stories now: Links to more Swansea City stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
