Cheltenham have signed striker Damian Spencer on a one-year contract.

Former Bristol City forward Spencer, 20, has been on trial with the Whaddon Road outfit and scored two goals in the pre-season friendly against Forest Green Rovers.

"Damian is young and has a lot of the attributes we are looking for," Cheltenham manager Graham Allner told the club's official site.

"He has pace, strength, ability and can score a goal. He could be quite an exciting prospect for us."
