| Tuesday, 18 February, 2003, 18:03 GMT Huddersfield 3-3 Cheltenham Huddersfield fought back from two goals down to grab three goals in five minutes before Cheltenham concluded a topsy-turvy game with an equaliser to salvage a draw. The hosts had wasted a string of chances and could have been four up before Cheltenham took a first-half lead through Grant McCann after 37 minutes, the club's 50,000 record buy from West Ham. Three minutes later Julian Alsop hit Cheltenham's second and it looked all over for the Yorkshire side. But Kenny Irons' well-placed free kick in the opening exchanges of the second half put Huddersfield back in contention before two Martin Smith strikes in the space of four minutes put Huddersfield ahead. They could not hang on, however, as McCann broke clear to hit his second goal after 71 minutes and give Cheltenham a share of the points. Alsop's header could have won it for the visitors, but Huddersfield substitute goalkeeper Phil Senior tipped the goalbound effort over.
