Cardiff City have had their third away match of 2003 called off.

The game against Peterborough was postponed due to a large section of the pitch being frozen.

Around 1500 Bluebirds fans had travelled to see The Posh and were bitterly disappointed with yet another away game being called off.

"Neither Barry Fry or I could argue with the decision because it was frozen," City manager Lennie Lawrence said.

"Okay we have all played on pitches in that condition in the past, but if we had played and one of my players had been injured as a result, I would have been mortified."

The other two games that Cardiff have had postponed were against Port Vale and Northampton Town.
