Double boost for Cheltenham
Cheltenham have received an injury boost with the news that both Hugh McAuley and Paul Brayson are due back in full training this week.

The strike duo have not played since the 0-0 draw at home to Chesterfield on 25 January.

"Hugh McAuley will be back in training and available for selection as the small crack he had in a toe has now healed," said Robins physiotherapist Ian Weston.

"Paul Brayson has also got over his hamstring problem."

There was further good news regarding John Finnigan, who picked up a foot injury in Cheltenham's Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup win over Forest Green.

He underwent a scan which showed that he had only suffered heavy bruising and not bone damage, although he is likely to miss the game at the weekend.

"We will have to see how the injury settles down and at this stage I would say he is doubtful for Saturday's game, although that could change."

Groin problem

Steve Jones (broken leg) and Neil Howarth (hamstring) played in the 5-1 win over Forest Green at The Lawn.

John Brough is expected to return to training next week after a groin problem, while Richard Forsyth under went a scan on his back and will see a specialist about his sciatica problem.

Meanwhile Cheltenham midfielder Lee Williams has signed for Dr Martens League Premier Division side Halesowen Town on a temporary basis.

The 30-year-old former Aston Villa trainee has joined the club initially on a five-week deal.
