Blackpool boss Steve McMahon has completed the twin signing of goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos and forward Paul Dalglish on one-year deals.

Australian-Greek stopper Theoklitos, 21, will have to wait for international clearance to join up with his new team-mates.

But when he does arrive, Theoklitos will battle it out with Phil Barnes for the number one shirt.

Striker Dalglish has a further one year option on his contract and moves to Bloomfield Road after spells with Newcastle, Norwich and Wigan.

McMahon has already secured one-month loan deals for Everton duo Peter Clarke and Keith Southern, who are both expected to extend their stay at Blackpool.

However, striker Lenny Johnrose will not be joining after rejecting the club's offer.
