| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 18:47 GMT Murphy lays down the law Blackpool's hat-trick hero John Murphy said the club needs to be more consistent if they are to challenge for promotion. Murphy grabbed three goals as the Seasiders secured a 3-1 win over Luton that took them up to seventh place in the table. But Murphy warned that they must keep up their recent form if they are to stay in the fight for promotion. "If we play well we can beat anybody in the league but we can also be the worst in the league," he told the club's website. "Confidence is obviously high - 10 games unbeaten is great. "We haven't been unbeaten for that long but we are taking each game as it comes, but they are getting bigger. "We are going to carry on and see where it takes us." |
