Each year Henman insists he has it within him to win Wimbledon and this year has been no different for the former world number four. The British number one has yet to reach the final of his home Grand Slam despite regularly making the semi-finals with a string of blistering performances.
Expectation looks set to be no different this season after a difficult start to the year.
Henman ended last year with a serious shoulder injury and has hardly played since undergoing surgery last October.
He appears to be returning to form at just the right time to make another onslaught on his favourite tournament of the season.
Henman won back-to-back games for the first time this season in an improved showing at April's Hamburg Masters.
He also impressed at the French Open before losing to eventual champion Juan Carlos Ferrero.
At one stage, injury looked set to cost him his place among the men's 32 seeds for Wimbledon.
While his tournament record is one of the most impressive of players currently on the tour, time is running out for the 28-year-old.
He has reached the semi-finals for three of the last four years, with nemesis Pete Sampras disposing of him on the first two occasions.
