At 20 years old, Robredo is one of the new faces on the men's tour and one of the future talents of it.
He picked up a tennis racquet for the first time at the age of one as a result of his father's love of the sport.
He made a name for himself at the 2001 French Open when he reached the fourth round following a string of impressive results.
This year, he has built on that success, reaching the quarter-finals and semi-finals of two of the Masters Series events.
While clay is his preferred surface, he has the talent to achieve success on all surfaces - including grass.
