Watson believes she can reach the British women's top spot
Guernsey tennis star Heather Watson has set her sights on reaching the British senior women's number one spot.
The 17-year-old had her first senior tournament win, in Frinton in July, and aims to improve her world ranking after entering the senior rankings at 775.
"I know I can make it to the top. It's just down to me now, I need to keep working and improving and becoming more consistent," she told BBC Guernsey.
"I'm going to work hard and make sure I don't regret anything in life."
Watson added: "[I] just want to get better so I can beat those people that I've lost to in the past."
"Anything is possible, I can do it [reach the number one spot], I just need to keep climbing that ladder."
Watson believes she has a different personality on and off the court.
"You've got to kind of have two personalities," she said. "Be a nice person but also be a competitive person who doesn't want to give anything away."
