Watson claimed her first senior title by winning at Frinton

Guernsey star Heather Watson has broken into the senior women's rankings for the first time in her career.

Watson is ranked 756 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) following her win at the Aegon Pro-Series tournament in Frinton on 18 July.

The 17-year-old still has another 18 months to go on the junior circuit before entering the senior tour on a full-time basis.

Watson now has a total of 26 senior ranking points.
