Watson made an early exit after losing the third set tie-break 7-4

Guernsey's Heather Watson is out of her latest junior clay-court tournament, after losing out in a third set tie-break in Italy.

The 17-year-old was beaten by American Mallory Burdette in the second round of the 50th Trofeo Bonfiglio - the Junior Italian Open.

At 5-4, Watson had a match-point but was unable to close the game out and lost the match 7-4 in the tie-break.

Watson also went out of the doubles, despite being the top seeds.

She will now prepare for her next tournament, which will be the French Open.
